Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Release

1. What this Waiver is
This Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Release (“Waiver”) is a binding agreement between you and HUDLI. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. By creating an account, checking “I agree,” or using HUDLI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily accept this Waiver. IMPORTANT: This document affects your legal rights. It is intended to protect HUDLI and its team from claims arising from your interactions with other people you meet through a dating and social platform. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice.
2. Platform acknowledgment
I understand that HUDLI is only a technology platform that helps adults discover and interact with other adults. HUDLI and the Released Parties (defined in the Terms) do not supervise meetings, do not guarantee anyone’s safety or honesty, and are not responsible for the conduct of any user online or offline. I understand that matchmaking, games, chats, plans, and invitations are tools for connection — not promises of safe, compatible, or successful relationships.
3. Photos, profile info & marketing — no pay
I grant HUDLI the content and publicity licenses in the Terms, including the right to use my photos, images, name, likeness, and profile information on the HUDLI Service and in HUDLI marketing and advertising, worldwide, without any compensation to me. I will not sue HUDLI for using My Content as licensed in the Terms (including right-of-publicity or similar claims to the extent waivable).
4. Risks I expressly accept
I acknowledge that interacting with and meeting people introduced through online platforms involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to: physical harm, sexual assault or misconduct, stalking, harassment, emotional distress, theft, fraud, property damage, disease or infection, false identity, and other injuries or losses. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES (TO THE EXTENT SUCH A WAIVER IS ALLOWED BY LAW), OR FROM THE CONDUCT OF THIRD PARTIES INCLUDING OTHER USERS.
5. Release & covenant not to sue
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE HUDLI, HUDLI, AND THE RELEASED PARTIES from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while using the Service or participating in any activity or meeting related to the Service, including while traveling to or from any such meeting. This release includes claims based on the Released Parties’ ordinary negligence to the extent waivable, but does not purport to release liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be waived under applicable law.
6. Unknown claims (including California §1542)
I understand that I may have claims that are not yet known or suspected. I waive the protections of California Civil Code §1542 and any similar statute of any jurisdiction, which states that a general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in their favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known, would have materially affected their settlement with the debtor or released party.
7. Indemnity for my conduct
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims brought by third parties arising from my content, my use of the Service, my meetings with other users, or my violation of law or the Terms.
8. My safety responsibilities
I agree that I alone am responsible for my safety decisions. I will review the Safety Tips, use caution, and will not rely on HUDLI as a substitute for common-sense precautions or emergency services. I will contact local law enforcement if I am in danger.
9. Binding effect
This Waiver binds me and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. If any part is held invalid, the rest remains enforceable. I sign / accept electronically with the same effect as a handwritten signature. Effective date: August 11, 2026. Questions: support@hudliai.com · greg@intrglobal.com.
